Our goal is to create the most comfortable sandals in Japan.
Iwasa's sandals are newly developed sandals that pursue comfort and have various functions such as improved "fit to the foot" and "resistance of the straps to wear down."
It goes without saying that they are comfortable to wear.
The attention to detail and design are only possible with high-quality Japanese manufacturing.
These are carefully made sandals of Japanese quality, made only by artisans in Iwasa's own workshop.
These sandals are carefully made by hand by craftsmen one by one, and cannot be mass-produced.
We believe that high-quality, highly functional sandals made by hand by dedicated craftsmen will bring joy to your kimono life and that you will be able to use them for a long time to come.
1 thong
By filling the inside of the bag with a sufficient amount of material, it will not easily lose its shape or become worn out, and you can use it for a long time. The beauty of the finish is also exceptional.

Unbreakable straps
If the thongs are too hard, they are uncomfortable to wear and hurt your feet. If they are too soft, they will lose their shape quickly and will no longer fit your feet. Another drawback of conventional thongs is that the core breaks. Due to the nature of the material, if you press down on them from above, the core may break and not return to its shape. To overcome these issues, we have combined a firm material that provides a good hold with a resilient cushioning material that feels good on the feet, in pursuit of a thong that looks beautiful, has a good hold, and is resistant to losing its shape. (Please note that pressing down on the thongs for long periods of time may cause them to lose their shape.)

2. Acupressure point
Ordinary socks tend to become thin after repeated putting on and taking off, causing pain to the feet, but Iwasa's Toe Tsubo socks have a core attached to the underside of the outer material to prevent them from becoming thin, so you can use them for a long time.

3 days
Our proud double cushioned upper is made of a highly cushioned 6mm thick sponge and a different type of cushioning material, which is gentle on your feet and makes walking easier.
The sponge around each edge is made thinner, giving it a smart appearance.
4 units
Uses a cork core that is highly elastic and durable (excluding men's items).
The core is tightly wrapped in fabric, right up to the "roll", to create a luxurious finish. Each pair is carefully pasted with the material by skilled craftsmen.

① 1st layer: Full cushion
The cushioning material is 6mm thick. The unique shape of the shoe is designed to provide a comfortable fit, and the moderate softness gently absorbs shock to the feet.
-
② Second layer cushion
The second layer is made of a slightly harder, more elastic cushioning material than the first layer. It is light and does not sink in easily, absorbing the shock of the first layer with stability. By layering two cushion layers with different properties, the effect lasts longer.
-
③ Base
The base is made of a stable material such as cork. It has a certain degree of hardness to prevent deformation and firmly support the first and second layers of cushioning. *Depending on the design, there are also foam materials with the third and fourth layers integrated together.
-
④ Bottom
The rubber sole is slip-resistant and easy to walk in. The heel part is made of a material that is particularly resistant to wear, making it extremely durable. Recommended even for those who are not used to wearing shoes.
RUBBER
5. "Excellent elasticity and flexibility"
Unlike ordinary sandals, the sole is made entirely of rubber.

Iwasa's special rubber sole
Uses a rubber sole that is non-slip and easy to walk in.
Most regular sandals have only partial rubber soles, but Iwasa's rubber soles are completely rubber, making them less slippery and easier to walk in.
Additionally, the rubber on the heel is treated to be even less prone to wear, making it extremely durable!
It is also recommended for those who are not used to wearing them.
There were several results, but the general trend was that the red area was larger in the order ① < ② < ③. In fact , when we took the average of the number of squares where pressure values of 132 mmHg or more were measured for each result, it was ① 20.67 squares, ② 22.83 squares, and ③ 25.00 squares, which follows the relationship of magnitude mentioned above . From this, it can be said that the double cushioned sandals distribute the pressure on the sole of the foot more widely than the conventional type, reducing the load on one point, and therefore it can be concluded that the Iwasa double cushioned type sandals ③ place the least load on the sole of the foot.
