How to choose and wear zori sandals
Size Information
There are three types of platforms: a sleek, slim platform, an easy-to-walk-on wide platform, and a stylish square platform.
If you are looking for comfort, try the "easy-to-walk wide platform" first.
Since sandals do not cover the entire foot like shoes, they are available in three sizes: S, M, L, and LL.
Please choose the size of your sandals based on your foot size.

Adjustment by wearing style
The best way to wear them is to not insert your toes too deeply into the sandals, but to have the thong appear to be hooked with your fingertips.
It is said that the most beautiful thing is for the heel to protrude 2-3cm above the platform, but since this can be tiring, it is becoming more common to wear it with the heel protruding about 1cm. Adjust it to your liking. (However, in the case of rain sandals, it is better to choose a size that fits snugly, as the tabi socks will get dirty with rainwater.)
We recommend a size that leaves your heel about 1cm above the platform.
If you feel that the sandals are a little tight, try putting your fingers through the straps and spreading them out with the back of your hand to make them easier to walk in and easier to fit your feet.
How to choose the right sandals for the occasion
Sandal color
For formal wear, gold, silver and white are suitable.
Additionally, having the thong and base the same color is more formal and is often worn for weddings.
Light-colored beige and gray shoes are easy to match with kimonos, and can be used for a wide range of occasions, from semi-formal to stylish kimonos. If most of your kimonos have yellow tones, choose beige shoes. If most of your kimonos have other tones, choose gray shoes. It's useful to have a pair of shoes on hand.
The height of the sandals
It is said that the higher the height, the more formal it is.
Stacked décor gives a slightly more structured and formal impression, but it also depends on the color scheme.
For fashionable and everyday clothes, the general height is between 3cm and 6cm, and we recommend shoes that are not too high to avoid fatigue.
