How to choose and wear zori sandals
About size
There are three types of stands: ``Slim and slim stand'', ``Wide stand for easy walking'', and ``Stylish square stand''.
If you are concerned about the ease of walking, please try a wide platform that is easy to walk on.
Since zori sandals do not cover the entire foot like shoes, they are available in sizes S, M, L, and LL.
Please choose the size of the sandals based on the size of your feet.

Adjustment depending on how you wear it
It is said that the best way to wear the shoes is to not insert your toes too deeply into the shoes, making it look like you are hooking the laces with your fingertips.
It is said that it is most beautiful for the heel to protrude 2 to 3 cm beyond the base, but it is also becoming more common to wear shoes with the heel protruding 1 cm beyond the base, as this can actually be tiring. Please adjust as you like. (However, if you are wearing rain sandals, the tabi will get dirty from rainwater, so it is better to have a size that fits well.)
We recommend a size where the heel extends about 1cm from the base.
If you feel that the zori sandals are a little tight, try threading your fingers through the thong and spreading them out with the back of your hand to make it easier to walk on and to make them fit your feet better.
How to choose sandals that match your TPO
color of sandals
Gold, silver, and white are suitable for formal attire. Also, if the hanao and stand are the same color, it will look more formal, and is often used for weddings.
Light beige and gray colors are easy to match with kimonos, and can be used in a wide range of situations, from semi-formal to fashionable kimonos. If most of your kimonos have a yellow tint to them, it's a good idea to have a beige kimono, or if you have a lot of other kimonos, a gray one.
height of sandals
It is said that the higher the height, the more formal the style.
Stacking tiers gives a slightly more structured and formal look, but it also depends on the color scheme.
For fashionable or casual wear, a height of 3cm to 6cm is common, and we recommend one that is not too high to avoid fatigue.
