Message

In the changing times,
What we still value is the "handmade" part of our products.

We must not extinguish the flames of the culture of making things and the hand-made techniques of Japanese craftsmen that have remained in Osaka.
This is our starting point.

IWASA products are handmade by craftsmen one by one in Japan.
This trend has continued unchanged for 95 years.

“Culture of making sandals” and “Culture of making bags” in Osaka
I strongly believe that this fire should not be extinguished.

We hope to move forward into the next 100 years with the dream of providing all our customers with a satisfying experience.

Iwasa Co., Ltd. Representative Director and President Hiroshi Iwasa

Camellia Quilt Trad & Vanity

Thanks to all of you, Iwasa has celebrated 95 years since its founding.
As a manufacturer, we have strived to create better products together with craftsmen and have continued to develop formal bags that combine dignity and functionality.
And to commemorate our 95th anniversary, we have prepared a limited number of commemorative formal bags.

Camellia Quilt Trad

formal bag hard type

The form is the traditional trapezoidal shape, which is the most popular choice among Iwasa customers. With its deep black color and silky smooth luster, it is a material that Iwasa confidently recommends for such special occasions. The surface has a three-dimensional quilted finish. The motif, the camellia, has the flower language of ``humble virtue'' and ``unpretentious elegance'' due to its overwhelming presence, even though it has no fragrance. Along with the beautiful finish, it embodies Iwasa's thoughts and wishes for manufacturing.

・Suitable for various formal occasions ・The opening has a built-in magnet for easy opening and closing ・Clean coat (water repellent, oil repellent, antibacterial, anti-mold)
・Quilting material that feels good to the touch ・Made in Japan

Formal Zori Ritsu & Hibiki

IWASA, which has continued to create formal wear, is particular about casual elegance and comfort.
The key to choosing zori sandals for formal occasions is to complement your gorgeous kimono or obi, and to be comfortable on your special day.

Ritsu

Zori formal type

It's nice to wear zori sandals to match your luxurious kimono, but keeping your feet neat and tidy will create a balanced overall look without making it look heavy. The original material of the stand is silvery white with a pearly feel. By making the delicately textured Hakata-ori into thongs, it will lead to a gorgeous yet elegant coordination. IWASA's zori sandals are designed to help you spend the day in comfort, with a fully W-cushioned structure that disperses the load on your feet, reducing the burden not only on your heel but also on the base of your toes. The bottom is made of non-slip rubber material.

・Thin 3-tiered design ・Can be matched with closed sleeves ・Elegant thong and base that are not too flashy ・Double cushioning all over to reduce the burden on your feet ・Non-slip rubber sole

Hibiki-

Zori formal type

We sensed the changing needs of our customers, so we created a wide type of IWASA that is easy to wear for formal wear. Heel height is 6.5cm. This is our most popular size, and it's not too low so you can wear it without overdoing it.Also, the two-tiered design makes it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from formal to neat coordination.
The wide type has a stable design that allows you to rest your feet firmly. IWASA's sandals have a W-shaped cushion structure on the entire surface and are designed to disperse the load on the feet, reducing the burden not only on the heel but also on the base of the toes. The bottom is made of non-slip rubber material.

・Wide design for easy walking ・Suitable for formal to slightly casual occasions ・Elegant thong and stand that are not too flashy ・Double cushioning all over to reduce the burden on your feet ・Non-slip rubber sole

As a manufacturer, we have strived to create better products together with craftsmen and have continued to develop formal bags that combine dignity and functionality. And to commemorate our 95th anniversary, we have prepared a limited number of commemorative formal bags.

2way clutch -HAKATAORI-

2way formal type

An unchanging orthodox model that stands out for its high quality materials and technology. We planned and developed it from scratch, including the shape and material, so that it would be worn with Tomesode, which is the most formal part of Japanese clothing. At Iwasa, we believe that in formal settings, especially celebrations, the way you express your feelings of congratulations, support, and gratitude is as important as your attire as your words. We use Hakata-ori, which is known for its strength and beauty created through techniques cultivated over a long history. Made of high-quality, glossy silk, we use a technique called nukitobashi to give volume to the background pattern. The distinctive and varied patterns create a gorgeous presence.

Circle Hand -HAKATAORI-

Formal dress type

The luster of the gold and silver threads creates a dignified weave that is suitable for formal occasions. The circle handle is impressive and adds an accent to your outfit. The elegant size and dignified appearance of the core give it an even more formal feel. The lack of a cover makes it easy to put things in and take them out, while the magnetic part that prevents the mouth from opening too much maintains an elegant form.
