How to care for your formal bag
-
Painting
To remove dirt and dust from the surface of the bag, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend using a microfiber cloth, which does not leave any lint. If you have foundation on the bag, wipe it with a cloth that has been wrung out in water, then wipe it dry.
-
Dry in a well-ventilated place
If you use it on a rainy day or during a humid season, dry it in the shade for about a day in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight to prevent mold growth.
*If the bag has been scratched or if the gusset has popped out because it has been overstuffed, the response will vary depending on the condition of the scratch and the gusset, so please first contact us using the information below.

How to store your formal bag
-
Insert paper
If you store the bag in the paper (anko) that comes with it, it will absorb the moisture in the bag and prevent mold from growing. Formal bags in the lightweight series (soft finish) also help to keep their shape.
-
Stored in a gift box
Store in a box away from direct sunlight and avoid high temperatures and humidity. If you don't have a box, store in a drawstring bag. If you store without a box, avoid stacking them on top of each other as they may become deformed.
*Please do not store the product with insect repellents, perfume, etc. as this may cause discoloration, deterioration, or peeling.
*Please note that if exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time, discoloration may occur due to ultraviolet rays.
How to care for and store your horse hair bag

Gently brush off any dirt, preferably with a soft-bristled brush.
If the hair stands up and becomes itchy, use thread cutters to cut it off at the root.
*We do not recommend using oils or creams as they may cause discoloration or stains.
Handling and storage instructions
Storing it in a hot and humid place can cause mold to grow. If mold does grow, even if you try to wipe it off with a brush or cloth, the roots of the fungus will penetrate deep into the tissue, leaving marks and making it difficult to clean.
It is important to prevent mold growth during storage. Mold will grow when the elements of dirt, high temperature and humidity are present, so clean the item, dry it in a cool, well-ventilated place, and store it in a presentation box or drawstring bag.
*Please avoid storing in non-breathable materials such as plastic bags.
Please refrain from storing the product in a poorly ventilated bag or box as this may cause mold to grow.
*Please store away from direct sunlight or lighting.
