Japanese-made floral lace is used for the fan surface and fan bag. The fan bones are dyed black so that they can be carried during mourning ceremonies. The metal fittings that fasten the fan rib are treated with black nickel.
We commissioned Hakuchikudo, a long-established folding fan manufacturer in Kyoto, to make this item in Korea.
